It is hard to believe it has been 17 years since Bruce Anfinson’s last recording, but it has been worth the wait.  Bruce’s newest CD, “The Ballad of Minnie and Pearl” is an outstanding collection of songs sure to delight even the most casual listener.  From the cover tune, The Ballad of Minnie and Pearl written by Anfinson and articulates  his love for the working horses, to the light hearted Rhubarb Pie each song will move you with his suburb vocals and guitar playing.  Anfinson is accompanied by Brian Oberlin on Mandolin, Elana James on the fiddle, Ken Nelson fretless bass and piano and special guest Raphael Cristy on the musical saw.  This CD is a two thumbs up and anyone who purchases it will not be disappointed!
